This integration will allow you to offer a tree each time a customer buys a ticket. Completing this integration will take you less than 10 minutes. Once completed, the system will be 100% automated.

Step 1: Add a Tree-Nation app in your Eventbrite account
Go to the App management section
https://www.eventbrite.com/account-settings/apps/
(if you are not based in the US, you may need to change the .com to .co.uk or .es, etc. to reflect your local URL settings).
Click on 'Create A New API'
In the following page, fill-in with this content:

- In First name, Last name: Just add your name
- Application URL: https://tree-nation.com
- Application Name: Tree-Nation
- Description: 1 tree per ticket
Save by clicking on 'Create Key'
Once saved, click on Show API key, client secret and tokens

Email subject: Eventbrite and [your company name ]
Step 2: Install the webhook in your Eventbrite
Go to the webhook section
https://www.eventbrite.com/account-settings/webhooks
(if you are not based in the US, you may need to change the .com to .co.uk or .es, etc. to reflect your local URL settings)
Click on 'Add Webhook'
In the Add webhook page fill in the information:

In Payload URL paste your webhook URL.
To find your webhook URL, please go to this page: Eventbrite Webhook
It looks like this:

- On Events select: All Events or select 1 specific event
- On Actions select: placed
And save by clicking on 'Add webhook'.
Step 3: Tree-Nation will prepare your account for Eventbrite integration
As soon as we receive your email we will prepare your account and send you a confirmation.
Step 4: Now, make a test!
Quickly make a purchase of a ticket in your shop to make sure you receive your tree!
Important: When making your test, do not use the same email you use in your Tree-Nation account. Otherwise our system will detect that you are the tree sender as well as the tree recipient and no gift email will be sent. Use any other email and it will work.
