Upgrading your plan will allow you to increase your monthly credits and start accessing advanced features.
At any time you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan.
To modify your plan, open your user menu, go My account, then My plan. Here click on the button Upgrade my plan (this will lead you to a page where you can upgrade but also downgrade or stop your plan).

Once on the Upgrade page select the new plan, then confirm it on the checkout page.
The changes will be effective immediately (even if you are in the middle of the month). You will benefit from your additional features and extra credits as soon as you complete the checkout.

Tip: Upgrade or just Add credits?
If you need more credits than the amount of your monthly plan, remember that adding extra credits to your account is very easily and can be done at any time. You don't need to Upgrade just for this.
However, if this becomes frequent, it may become cheaper and more convenient to Upgrade your plan.

I would call it Upgrade even if it allows to downgrade. It sets the tone, which is important. Confirm how they do it in a few other platforms.
Case study upgrade:
A user has a Standard at 20€ and upgrades to a Premium 100€ on day 4.
-> He will be charged 80€ immediately (the difference) and will receive the credits and additional features immediately.
Case study downgrade:
A user has a Premium at 100€ and downgrades to a Standard at 20€ on day 4.
-> He will owe 0€ so won't be charged. He will conserve any credit he has (100€). He won't be refunded of any credit. He will maintain the Premium features.
