Each Tree-Nation project includes a Species tab — one of several sections within a project page. It lists the different tree species selected for that reforestation site, along with important details like their role, stock, and pricing.
🧾 What you’ll find in the species section
Each Tree-Nation project includes a Species tab — one of several sections within a project page. It lists the different tree species selected for that reforestation site, along with important details like their role, stock, and pricing.
For each species, you’ll find a species card with photo, scientific name, co2 capture value.
Each species indicate its price per tree. A fixed price, independently of quantity.
Clicking on a species open a small popup with more species details to learn about it's main uses and attributes, including more details about its CO2 capture.
Within this popup you can also see the current stock available to sponsor for this species.
📦 Species stock: how it works
Stock refers to how many trees of each species are available to be sponsored within this project.
If a species shows stock = 0, it simply means that all trees of that species have already been sponsored — for now.
But this is not fixed. Most active projects receive new planting sites each year, and with them, new species stock may become available.
→ You’ll learn more about this in the next article: Project Planting Sites section.
🧭 How to use this section
The Species tab is mainly for planning and informational purposes. It's especially useful when:
-
You're preparing a large planting volume
-
You need to check species availability or compare pricing
-
You're interested in the ecological diversity of the project
Tip: If you're ready to plant, the best way to select your species is directly in the Plant module. There, you'll see live stock and can select available species instantly.
