Access your Impact section

From the User menu, click on your forest:
Once on your forest, access your Impact section by clicking on My Impact tab.

What Is the Impact Section

    • Biodiversity Benefits: Details on how your forest supports local ecosystems by creating habitats for wildlife.

Why Is the Impact Section Important

For Individuals:

The Impact section lets you visualize the real-world effects of your contributions. Seeing metrics like CO2 offset and trees planted connects your efforts to the planet’s well-being.

For Organizations:

If you’re using Tree-Nation as part of a corporate sustainability initiative, this section serves as a powerful tool for stakeholder communication. It helps you:

  • Build Trust: Demonstrate measurable results to your customers, employees, and investors.

  • Promote Your Brand: Share your positive environmental and social contributions on your website, newsletters, or social media.

  • Inspire Action: Encourage others to join your sustainability efforts by highlighting your achievements.

Understanding the data

  • The Impact page provides dynamic data: the information in this section updates in real time as new trees are planted.
  • Your Forest Impact data (including tree count, CO2 values and biodiversity markers) is backed by our FOUNDATION Certification standard. Click on the link to learn more about it.
  • To have an insight on how we calculate the CO2 values, check our CO2 offset methodology.
  • The hectares of reforested land data comes from a calculation based on the tree density (per ha) observed within each project.

That's a wrap! This concludes our Onboarding. You should now have all the tools to start making an impact.

    INTERNAL

    • Written with Chatgpt, it represent more what we should have than what we have now. Copy to Confluence and lower to a simpler version.
    • Too long, too many bulletpoints maybe?
    • Use the share button. Don't exist yet. We can say "Share your impact url..." for now.
    • Download button: doesn't exist.
    • review and shorten this paragraph: When you select a project to plant your trees,...
    • in understanding the data, there should be more than just ha. But right now our impact page is poor.

Ideas for later in key features:

    1. Personalization: Customize your impact summary with a description of your motivations or initiatives.
