      Advanced Tree-Gift Options

      There are 3 advanced tree-gift options

      We offer 3 advanced Tree-Gift options: 

      1. Through a (printable) QR-code.
      2. Through a unique Tree-Collect-URL.
      3. Through a paper certificate. 

      Note: The standard Tree-Gift options are the most efficient and friendly way to gift a tree to your audience - we advise to first explore those options. 

      Offer Your Tree-Gifts Through a Printable QR Code

      Easily link your products or event to Tree-Gifts using a QR code, allowing multiple users to collect their individual trees from a single scan.

      How It Works

      Each Tree-Gift on Tree-Nation has a unique URL, ensuring it is only accessible by its recipient. However, printing a different QR code on every product or event can be impractical. This service solves that challenge by enabling you to print one QR code that works for all your Tree-Gifts.

      📌 Once scanned, the QR code automatically redirects each user to their individual Tree-Gift, providing the same seamless experience as any other Tree-Gift.

      QR SEEMS NOT TO WORK

      Requirements & Customization

      ✔ Minimum campaign size: 5,000 trees
      ✔ No additional fees (only the cost of trees)
      ✔ QR codes cannot be reused for multiple campaigns (Tree-Gift messages and images are fixed)

      How to Get Your QR Code

      Step 1 – Generate the Trees
      Use the Plant&Offer feature and select advanced options:

      1. Choose the project and tree species.
      2. Click "Offer to a large group" -> click "Advanced options" -> click ¨Send the trees myself¨.
      3. Enter the number of recipients. (i.e., expected QR code scans).
      4. Select the number of trees per recipient (each QR scan will receive this amount).
      5. Personalize your Tree-Post for your recipients - adding an image, message, and hashtag.
      6. Proceed with the checkout.

      Step 2 – Submit the Request Form
      After your purchase, fill out the QR Code Request Form below, and our team will process your request.

      Step 3 – Receive Your QR Code
      Once ready, we’ll send you an email with your unique QR code and its associated link. After testing, you can add the QR code to your product packaging, promotional materials, event stand, digital campaigns, or simply at your office!

      Share a single URL with multiple recipients, allowing each one to claim an individual Tree-Gift.

      How It Works

      This feature simplifies tree gifting by using one URL for all recipients, eliminating the need for multiple links or email coordination.

      • Once clicked, the link automatically assigns a unique Tree-Gift to each user, providing the same experience as any other Tree-Gift.

      How to Get Your Unique URL

      Step 1 – Generate the Trees
      Use the Offer Trees service with advanced options:

      1️⃣ Choose the project and the tree species.

      2️⃣ Click "Offer to a large group" -> click "Advanced options" -> click ¨Send the trees myself¨.

      3️⃣ Enter the number of recipients. (i.e., expected recipients/collectors).

      4️⃣ Select the number of trees per recipient (e.g., 1 tree per 1,000 recipients).
      5️⃣ Personalize your Tree-Post for your recipients - adding an image, message, and hashtag.
      6️⃣ Proceed to checkout.

      Step 2 – Submit the Request Form
      After your purchase, fill out the Unique URL Request Form, and our team will process your request.

      Step 3 – Receive Your Unique URL
      Once ready, we’ll send you an email with your Unique URL, which you can use in your marketing campaigns, social media, or newsletters.

      How to Offer a Tree With a Paper Certificate

      If you prefer a physical gift, you can print a Tree Certificate to hand to your recipient personally - Note: printing is not our favorite option as this impacts deforestation ;)

      How It Works

      Each certificate includes a unique tree URL, allowing recipients to collect their tree online.

      The recipient will also receive an email, but you can ensure that your personalized gift is given first by hand.

      How to Generate a Paper Certificate

      Step 1 – Offer Your Tree
      Go to the Plant&Offer feature and purchase a tree as usual.

      Step 2 – Schedule the Email Notification
      During checkout, use the calendar tool to set the email delivery date. (To keep it a surprise, choose a date after you plan to give the printed certificate).

      Step 3 – Retrieve Your Certificate
      1️⃣ After purchasing, check your confirmation email or go to My Contributions.
      2️⃣ Click on the arrow in the ´View Tree/s´ column  to access all your PDF tree certificates.
      3️⃣ Avoid collecting the tree yourself—doing so will register it to your own account!

      Step 4 – Print the Certificate
      Simply download, print, and gift-wrap your Tree Certificate for a special in-person gifting experience.
