      Tree-Gifts

      The best eco-friendly gift to share the positive impact of tree planting with your customers, partners, employees, friends, or family members.

      With our platform, you can easily plant and gift trees to your friends, customers, partners, and team members. Show your leadership by driving change and replacing greeting cards or company gifts with trees. Stop offering plastic and paper-based gifts that damage the environment.       What is a Tree-Gift?

      A Tree-Gift consists of two essential components:

        1. The Physical Tree: A real tree planted in one of our global reforestation projects, contributing to carbon capture, biodiversity restoration, and community support.
        2. The Digital Tree: A digital representation of the planted tree, featuring details about its species, the planting location, the project background, and a personalized image and message from you.
      Collect your tree

      When you give a Tree-Gift, the tree is recorded in your own Tree-Nation forest. If the recipient creates an account, it will also appear in their personal forest, symbolically connecting both of you through a shared environmental gesture.

      How Do Tree-Gifts Work?

      1. Offering the Tree-Gift:
        Once you select and fund a tree, Tree-Nation sends an email to your chosen recipient on your behalf. This email includes essential details about the tree—its species, and planting location —as well as a direct link to view and claim the Tree-Gift.

      2. Recipient Experience:
        Upon clicking the link in the email, the recipient is taken to the Tree-Nation website, where they can see their digital tree. They may simply view it, or if they choose to create a Tree-Nation account, the tree will be added to their personal forest. From there, they can explore in-depth information about their tree, the project it supports, and follow updates on its growth and impact. But also keep collecting more trees!

      3. Non-Claimed Trees:
        If the recipient does not create an account or “collect” the tree, it will still be planted and remain in your forest. Tree-Nation sends two reminder emails, but if the tree remains unclaimed, it is never reassigned. This ensures the original intent of the gift is honored, and your environmental commitment is fulfilled.

      A tree-gift appears in 2 forests: the forest of the gift sender and the forest of the recipient. Learn more about how we count your emissions.

      Making It Personal and Memorable

      Each digital tree can carry a personal message and custom image, allowing you to transform your gift into a memorable, meaningful gesture. Whether you’re celebrating a special event, rewarding a dedicated team member, or thanking a loyal client, a Tree-Gift stands out as a responsible and heartfelt choice.

      Manual or Automated Gifting

      Tree-Gifts can be offered on an ad-hoc (manual) basis—perfect for special one-time occasions—or integrated into your ongoing business activities. Through Tree-Nation’s services for companies, you can automate the gifting process, making it simple to send trees as part of your customer engagement strategy, employee recognition program, or marketing campaigns.
