🎁 Offer Tree-Gifts via QR code, shared URL, or printed certificate

Choose the most flexible and scalable way to gift trees. Perfect for events, campaigns, customer gifting, or in-person experiences.

🌍 Three ways to offer Tree-Gifts

Tree-Nation offers three advanced Tree-Gift formats that allow you to share trees in bulk, in a way that fits your audience and delivery method:

  1. Shared Collect URL or QR Code (same process)
One link or code — many recipients. Ideal for products, events, packaging, and campaigns.

  2. Printable Tree Certificate
Hand your Tree-Gift in person with a downloadable, printable certificate.

🔗 Shared Collect URL & QR Code (same process)

You can use one request flow to generate either a shared URL or a QR code — depending on your campaign format. Both work the same way:

✔️ What it does:

  • Distributes individual Tree-Gifts to each recipient

  • Uses one universal link or QR code for all

  • Each recipient receives a unique, personalized tree

  • Works for printed materials, digital campaigns, in-store displays, product packaging, and more

🛠️ How it works (for both URL & QR code)

Step 1 – Generate the trees

Go to Plant & Offer Trees and select Advanced Options:

  1. Choose the project and species

  2. Select “Offer to a large group”

  3. Click “Advanced Options” → “Send the trees myself”

  4. Indicate:

    • Number of recipients (expected link clicks or QR scans)

    • Number of trees per recipient

  5. Add a catching Tree-Post message with image, caption, and hashtag which describes the reason for planting and gifting the trees

  6. Proceed to checkout

Step 2 – Submit your request

Once your order is complete, share your request to Support@tree-nation.com:

Share an email with the following information:

  1. Login email address
  2. Transaction ID, which can be found on your contribution page.
  3. Inform which delivery format you prefer (URL or QR code).

Step 3 – Receive your code or link

You’ll receive an email from our team with your shared URL and/or QR code.

You can now integrate it into:

  • Product packaging

  • Event booths or posters

  • Digital campaigns

  • Office materials

  • Thank-you cards or flyers

⚠️ Don’t collect the tree yourself, or it will register under your own name!

📦 Requirements & limitations

  • Minimum size: 50 trees

  • 💸 No additional fees (you only pay for the trees)

  • ✍️ Tree messages & images are fixed for the full campaign

  • 🚫 QR codes cannot be reused for future campaigns

🖨️ Paper certificate gifting

Prefer a physical, hand-delivered gift? You can download and print a Tree Certificate PDF for your recipient.

🎁 What it includes:

  • A personalized Tree-Gift message

  • A shared tree link so the recipient can collect their tree online

  • Space for gifting messages and your company branding

📜 How to generate a paper certificate

Step 1 – Offer a Tree

Use Plant & Offer to purchase a tree.

Step 2 – Schedule the email delivery

Use the calendar tool at checkout to delay the email — this lets you give the certificate first by hand, and let the digital email follow later.

Step 3 – Download your certificate

Go to My Contributions
Click the arrow in the “View Trees” column → download your PDF certificate.

⚠️ Don’t collect the tree yourself, or it will register under your own name!

Step 4 – Print and deliver

Print, gift-wrap, and hand over your Tree Certificate for a meaningful offline experience.

🌳 Ensure you plant an extra tree for the printing 😉
