Monthly Campaigns Calendar 2026

Your Year of Impact

Our 2026 Campaign Calendar is your guide to a year of tree-planting opportunities, each linked to a cause that matters for the planet and people. Whether you’re a business looking to inspire your team or an individual wanting to contribute, this calendar shows you what’s ahead and how to get involved.

Each celebration is also a chance to build a planting habit in your company. It is a simple and recurring way to mark environmental and social events with trees and turn impact into a yearly tradition.

Earth Day

This month’s spotlight: 22 April – Earth Month. Use #EarthDay (over 500,000 trees)

Ecosystems thrive on balance. Clean air, fertile soil, and stable climates depend on healthy landscapes. Decades of depletion have disrupted Earth’s delicate balance, but nature is resilient. The sooner we act, the stronger nature’s ability to heal will be.

Impact: More trees help combat climate change, preserve biodiversity, and prevent deforestation.

May: Forests for the Wild

Endangered Species

This month’s spotlight: 15 May – Endangered Species Day. Use #EndangeredSpecies (over 4,500 trees)

Forests are the backbone of biodiversity. When they disappear, animals lose their homes, and survival becomes uncertain. Safeguarding biodiversity starts with restoring natural environments.

Impact: Rebuilding lost habitats protects wildlife, ensures food sources, and maintains critically needed ecosystems for endangered species.

Other key events:

  • 20 May – World Bee Day (UN). Pollinators thrive on healthy flora. Highlight flowering tree species and biodiversity projects that support bee populations. Use #SaveTheBees (over 1,300 trees)

June: Sustainability Starts With Us

Environment Month

This month’s spotlight: 5 June – World Environment Day (UN). Use #EnvironmentMonth (over 100,000 trees)

Land, water, and energy come from nature, but overuse without replenishment leads to breakdowns and climate instability. Balancing human development with conservation ensures that nature and communities can thrive together.

Impact: Sustainable innovation reduces carbon footprints, restores ecosystems, and prevents environmental collapse.

Other key events:

  • 8 June – World Oceans Day (UN). Link forests and oceans by talking about watershed protection and plastic-free habitat. Use #OceanDay (over 500 trees)

  • 17 June - World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought (UN). Use #CombatDesertificationDay (over 1,400 trees)

July: Reducing Plastic to Restore Nature

Plastic Free

This month’s spotlight: All July – Pastic Free. Use #PlasticFree (over 2,900 trees)

Plastic pollution is a silent cost we all pay. From soil degradation to ocean contamination, plastic weakens ecosystems that regulate climate, protect biodiversity, and support livelihoods. By cutting plastic at the source and pairing action with tree planting, we help nature recover where pollution has already taken its toll.

Impact: Cutting plastic pollution protects ecosystems, reduces environmental degradation, and supports climate stability.

Other key events:

  • 28 July – World Nature Conservation Day.  Healthy ecosystems support agriculture, stabilize climates, and reduce disaster risks. Use #NatureConservation

Recommended Key Elements: Indigenous Tribes (5 Projects), Land Restoration (47 Projects), Conservation (20 Projects).

August: Healthy Forests Keep Water Flowing

World Water Week

This month’s spotlight: Late August – World Water Week. Use #WorldWaterWeek (over 2,400 trees)

Deforestation disrupts the water cycle. Without tree roots to retain moisture, soil dries out, leading to desertification and increased wildfire risk. Sustainable reforestation methods, such as Muvuca planting and agroforestry, restore degraded land, improve water retention, and mitigate drought.

Impact: Tree roots retain groundwater, prevent desertification and forest fires, restore degraded land, and ensure access to clean water for remote communities.

Other key events:

  • 9 August – International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples (UN). Use #IndigenousPeoplesDay

  • 12 August – International Youth Day (UN). Use #EmpowerYouth

  • 19 August – World Humanitarian Day (UN). Highlight the human side of your impact: projects that support refugees, conflict recovery, and fair labor in forestry. Use #WorldHumanitarianDay

Recommended Key Elements:  Water Management (4 Projects), Agroforestry (22 Projects), Infrastructure (1 Project).

September: Turn Waste Into Fresh Starts.

World Cleanup Day

This month’s spotlight: 19 September – World Cleanup Day. Use #WorldCleanupDay (over 1,300 trees)

Pollution spreads through air, water, and soil. Forests act as natural filters, absorbing carbon, purifying air, and preventing toxins from contaminating water sources. Without them, pollution intensifies. Reforestation strengthens the planet’s ability to manage waste naturally.

Impact: Trees act as natural purifiers to improve environmental health.

Other key events:

  • 7 September – International Day of Clean Air for blue skies (UN).  Connect clean-air messaging with urban greening and forest projects. Use #TogetherForCleanAir

  • 16 September – International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer (UN). Use #OzonePreservationDay

Farmers rely on healthy soil and stable climates, but land degradation threatens their livelihoods. Agroforestry helps ensure long-term food security. Trees offer sustainable solutions, providing shade, moisture, and crops that thrive even in harsh conditions.

Impact: Agroforestry enhances crop productivity, restores soil fertility, and provides farmers with sustainable food sources, securing endurance for intensified climate breakdowns.

Other key events:

  • 10 October – World Mental Health Day (WHO). A growing topic in HR that connects trees to mental well-being, stress reduction, and "Forest Bathing" for employees. Use #MentalHealthDay
