Tree-Nation issues carbon credits as part of its integrated certification system, based on clearly defined project parameters and methodology.
How credit issuance works

Each project defines the tree species and their associated CO₂ values using our carbon methodology

For each planting site, a Purchase Order (PO) is created, specifying:

species
-
quantities
-
total expected carbon impact

Once the PO is approved and signed, it is added to the system
👉 At this point, the corresponding carbon credits are issued and made available on the platform
Tracked in the Tree-Nation issuance system
All issued credits are recorded within the Tree-Nation issuance system, ensuring:

Visibility over total issued volumes

A structured record of issued credits based on approved project parameters

A clear link between methodology and issued credits
We are continuously improving the system to provide more granular traceability between credits and specific planting sites.
