Issuing credits: our carbon issuance log

Projects under Nature, Forest Gardens, and Tree-Nation Methodology (Legacy) do not receive carbon credits. See each tier's page for details on reporting eligibility.

How credit issuance works

• Each project defines the tree species and their associated CO₂ values using Tree-Nation's carbon methodology.

• For each planting site, a Project Design Document (PDD) is created, specifying:

  • species

  • quantities

  • total expected carbon impact

   

• Once the PDD is approved and signed, it is added to the system

👉 At this point, the corresponding carbon credits are issued and made available on the platform

All issued credits are recorded within the Tree-Nation issuance system, ensuring:

• Visibility over total issued volumes

• A structured record of issued credits based on approved project parameters

• A clear link between methodology and issued credits

The system is continuously refined to provide granular traceability between credits and specific planting sites.
