Collaborative communication & marketing requests
Tree-Nation is an operational platform, not a marketing partner — here's what we offer, and how to unlock collaborative communication when you reach 50,000 trees.
Why companies ask this
Many of our sponsor companies reach out with enthusiasm — and rightly so. They've made a real environmental commitment and want to amplify it. A natural next step seems to be partnering with Tree-Nation on joint campaigns, co-branded storytelling, press releases, collaborative social content, or coordinated communication strategies.
We deeply appreciate this enthusiasm. It reflects exactly the kind of ambition we want to see from companies taking their sustainability commitments seriously.
What Tree-Nation does — and doesn't do
Tree-Nation is an operational environmental platform. Every euro of revenue and every hour of our team goes directly into one thing: making sure trees get planted, monitored, and reported on — across our network of reforestation projects worldwide.
We are not a marketing agency. We are not a PR partner. We do not have the resources, team structure, or mandate to provide:
- Collaborative storytelling or co-authored content
- Joint press releases or media outreach
- Dedicated social media campaigns for individual sponsors
- Custom communication strategies or consultations
- Co-branded marketing assets created on your behalf
This is not a capacity issue unique to your request — we receive this type of request from thousands of companies. Offering it to one would mean offering it to all 20,000+ sponsors, which is simply not possible without diverting resources away from the planting operations that define our mission.
The 50,000 Tree Milestone — where collaboration becomes possible
There is one meaningful exception. Companies whose company forest reaches 50,000 trees have demonstrated a level of commitment that goes well beyond the norm. At that scale, your impact is significant enough that a shared story genuinely serves our collective mission — it inspires other companies, validates what long-term environmental commitment looks like, and gives the wider Tree-Nation community a tangible benchmark to aspire to.
If your company forest has reached the 50,000 tree milestone, you are welcome to reach out to us via our Contact Us page. Share your story, your journey, and what this commitment has meant for your company. Our team will review it and, where it's a strong fit, we would be happy to explore a shared communication together.
Please note that reaching the milestone is the starting point, not a guarantee — we'll evaluate each story on its own merits and our capacity at the time.
What we offer every sponsor — and it's more than you might think
Your communication toolkit as a Tree-Nation sponsor is rich regardless of where you are on your journey. We've built a full library of self-service resources so you can tell your story powerfully and credibly, entirely on your own terms.
Everything you need is in our Best Practices for Companies guide, which covers must-have communication templates, social media ideas tied to your forest, live website labels and tree counters, marketing assets, CSR frameworks for responsible storytelling, and advanced tools like dedicated commitment pages and forest URL sharing.
These tools are designed so that you own your narrative — which is as it should be. Your sustainability story is yours to tell.
What about occasional social media reposts?
We do occasionally repost sponsor stories on our social media channels when they come across our feed. This happens organically — there is no formal process, no guaranteed placement, and no way to request it as a service.
The bottom line
Tree-Nation's value to you is real, verified, operational impact — trees in the ground, CO2 sequestered, biodiversity restored. That impact is the story. We give you all the tools to tell it. And if you plant enough trees to reach 50,000, we'd genuinely love to tell part of it together.
