Tree-Nation primarily operates on an ex-ante model.

This means:

  • CO₂ is estimated before trees are planted, based on species and project design

  • These estimates allow projects to secure funding and begin planting

  • Your contribution directly enables new trees to be planted

This is what allows Tree-Nation to scale reforestation efficiently.

3. From planting to real impact

After planting:

  • Trees are monitored over time through reporting and remote sensing

  • Project development is tracked at the planting-site level
