Our mission is to plant 1 trillion trees by 2050. This is the amount of trees needed to stop climate change and avoid a catastrophic outcome.

Tree-Nation is on a mission to reforest the world, aiming to plant 1 trillion trees by 2050 to combat climate change. This number is significant enough to effectively halt deforestation and play a pivotal role in stopping climate change—provided other solutions, such as advancements in energy and transport, occur alongside.

Our vision is rooted in the understanding that planting trees is an effective, safe, and impactful way to capture carbon, limit the increase of temperature to 1,5ºC above pre-industrial levels, and safeguard our planet from tipping points that could cause irreversible damage.

To achieve this, we’ve developed the Tree-Nation platform that connects actions to tree planting, empowering citizens and companies alike to contribute. Combining innovation, collaboration, and gamification, Tree-Nation makes reforestation accessible and engaging, ensuring that together, we can turn this ambitious goal into a reality.
