How to communicate once you have installed ProductTrees

Connect your customers’ purchases to the reforestation projects your company supports. Explain the planting commitment and the tree gift they will receive.

Once you have created your forest and installed ProductTrees, introduce your customers to the planting commitment their purchases support.

Start with our communication onboarding, then use the recommendations below for your product pages and confirmation emails.

In this article, we will look at the specific communication elements that are related to our ProductTrees service.

Product page

Add a mention on the product page, e.g. 'This product plants a tree'.

Explain the planting action your company funds with each qualifying purchase.

For every purchase of this product, we fund one tree through Tree-Nation.

If your integration plants one tree per order, use:

Keep any minimum spend, excluded products or campaign dates visible alongside the commitment.

You can also introduce the project your company supports and link to your forest, giving customers a way to explore the work behind their tree.

 Confirmation email

Tell customers how their order contributes to your planting commitment and what to expect from their tree gift.


Here is an example:

Thank you for supporting our planting commitment. We’re funding [number] tree(s) through Tree-Nation as part of your order. You’ll receive a separate email from Tree-Nation with your tree gift, planting certificate and information about the reforestation project we support.
