      The Tree Feed - social platform

      Tree-Nation uses Social Media tools to make tree planting fun and contagious.

      Tree-Nation incorporates familiar social media features with a unique focus on trees, creating a vibrant community centered around reforestation. Our platform encourages users to share their trees, celebrate milestones, and plant together, making the act of tree planting more engaging and inspiring.

      Tree Feed page

      The Tree Feed is the central hub to explore recently planted trees, discover tree motivations, and engage with the Tree-Nation community. This page is accessible to both logged-in and non-logged-in users, with slightly different features depending on the user's status. You can enter it by clicking on Trees in the upper navigation bar. 

      Users logging in from the main login button are redirected to the Tree Feed. If you want to go back to your forest, click on your profile image at the right top and click on ´ My Forest´.  

      Hashtag

      Clicking any hashtag throughout the platform redirects to the Hashtag Page (a filtered Tree Feed). On the right side, the trending hashtags are displayed. Using hashtags is a great way to inspire others with your tree-planting reason.  

      Quick tree planting access

      The Tree Feed allows you to access two of our quickest tree-planting solutions;

      1. Replant: Within two clicks you can replant a tree post that inspires you.
      2. Plant&Offer: Plant and gift trees with a customized tree post telling your reason for contributing to our reforestation mission.   

      Tree Post

      The tree post comes with the following elements; 

      1. Image and the tree message (The reason or occasion why the trees have been planted). 
      2. Like and comments: Click on the image to view the comments and likes. 
      3. Share button: Share your contribution easily with others on other channels. 
      4. Tree details: Click on the image -> click ´Tree info´ and click on the name of the species planted.  

      Tabs - "For You" and "Following"

      "For You" Tab

      • Shows all trees in the database.

      • Trees are sorted by score using our custom algorithm.

      "Following" Tab

      • Displays trees planted by users that you follow.

      Explore the Tree Feed to discover trending trees and learn about the reasons and events motivating our community to plant. When thousands of people come together to plant trees simultaneously, it transforms into a powerful movement.
