Follow this step by step quick Onboarding to setup your account in minutes. Step 6: Select your project&species selection
In case you missed earlier steps of this Quick onboarding, go back to its menu.
You will need to have a Subscription to set up your Project&Species selection. Check Step 5: Take a Climate Subscription
Step 6: Select your Project&Species selection
Go to your Project&Species selection
Once you have your subscription, let's see in which projects (and which species) you would like to plant trees. The Project&Species selection is designed to set what will be your default selection setting. However, any time you plant, you'll be able to overwrite this setting and select a different option. This allows you to plant faster as you don't have to choose a species each time. It also allows you to have no surprise on the number of tree credits needed to plant a tree.
To configure it, open your user menu, go My account, then My Project&Species selection.
Here you will see 2 solutions:
- use a ready-made Species Package,
- or create a Custom Species List.
Species Package
Species Package are ready-made packages. Each package regroup species from multiple projects providing you an ample choice and great diversity of impact.
The species in those packages are selected by our Forestry team depending of the planting season, stock availability and need from the different projects. They are then grouped by Package prices.
The different Species Packages offer you different exposure to a large quantity of projects and more diversity.
To get started we recommend you to always use the Species Package unless you have very specific requirements.
To select your default Species Package, click on it and Save.
Remember you can edit your Project&Species selection at any time by going back to this section.
Custom Species List
Please note that Custom Species List is an Advanced option, only available from a Premium Subscription.
If you would like to plant a Custom Species List, contact your Account Manager to set it up.
Once this is done, you can now go to Step 7: Set up your first app to choose and launch your first App!
