      7. Install Your Commitment Label on Your Website

      Showcase Your Environmental Commitment on Your Website By Installing Our Label

      Step 7: Add our Commitment Label to your Website


      Discover

      For our Subscribed members, in particular, for Company sponsors, Tree-Nation offers a certification label to add to your site. This label is "smart" as it offsets your website´s emissions and gives quick access for your stakeholders to your Forest Impact Page.

      Installation Steps

      1. Install the label in your website´s footer by logging in to your account and entering this page. It will describe how to copy-paste a small piece of code into your website.

      On this page, click on the ´Install´ button.

       

      2.  Choose a Theme and Language

      Before installing the label, decide on the following:

      • Theme: Light or Dark

      • Language: Select your preferred language (e.g., English). This will change the text of your label but also allow a visitor to see your Forest Impact page in the set language.

      Tip: If you have a multi-language website, you can adjust the following parameters:

      lang: Language code (e.g., 'en' for English, 'fr' for French).


      2. Obtain the Installation Code

      The Smart Label consists of two parts:

      1. JavaScript Code: This initializes the widget.
        Copy the JavaScript code and Paste it inside the <head></head> tags of your HTML page:

      2. HTML Code: This determines where the label will appear.
        Copy the HTML code and Paste it into the footer of your website, in the space you want the label to be displayed.

      3. Save and Publish

        Save the changes to your HTML file.
        Publish or update your website to make the Smart Label live.
         

      Install status

      Once installed, your Smart Certification page will indicate the install Status of your label.

      The status should change to "Active".
      The "Last connection" information indicates when the Label was last accessed by any of your website users.

      Troubleshooting

      • Label Not Displaying: Ensure the JavaScript code is placed correctly inside the <head> tag.

      • Incorrect Placement: Confirm the HTML code is pasted in the desired location on your webpage.

      • Customization Issues: Double-check the parameters (e.g., lang, theme) for typos.

      • If you still have an issue, contact our Support.

      We should review with Frontend if this double-install embed is the best one. A one-embed would be so much better.
