• Foundation: high-integrity carbon credits for climate reporting, deepest MRV chain
• Mission: scalable carbon credits for climate reporting, full MRV chain
• Nature: nature-based restoration projects producing documented CO2 impact for biodiversity, community, and forestry disclosure
• Forest Gardens: smallholder agroforestry projects producing documented CO2 impact and livelihood outcomes

Across all pathways, projects get:

• Access to Tree-Nation certification methodologies
• A carbon methodology developed and refined over time
• Clear rules for project design, species selection, and carbon calculation

Foundation and Mission generate carbon credits eligible for climate reporting frameworks (CSRD ESRS E1, CDP Climate Change, SBTi BVCM). Nature and Forest Gardens generate documented CO2 impact suitable for biodiversity, community, and forestry disclosure (CSRD ESRS E4, S3, CDP Forests, VSME). Both rails use the same measurement methodology.

This allows projects to generate consistent and measurable environmental impact.

2. MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, Verification)

Tree-Nation provides a built-in MRV system combining:

• Geolocated photos of planting and monitoring
• Planting and monitoring reports
• Site-level tracking through Project Design Documents (PDDs)
• Remote sensing data (satellite monitoring, vegetation indices, and carbon measurements)

This ensures that projects are:

• Continuously monitored
• Transparently reported
• Verified through both field data and independent signals

3. Funding and distribution

Tree-Nation connects projects with a global network of:

• Corporate sponsors
• Individual supporters

Through the platform:

4. Project structuring system

Each planting site is structured through a Project Design Document (PDD), which defines:
