Link your products to Tree-Gifts with a QR Code

This service allows you to print a unique QR code directly on your products and link it to multiple Tree-Gifts so that each user can individually collect their tree from a single QR code.

Each Tree-Gift in Tree-Nation has its own coded URL so that each gift is only accessible by the intended recipient. However, this is not practical when you want to link a physical product to Tree-Gifts, as the logistics of printing a different QR code on each product are counterproductive. This is where this service creates the perfect bridge by allowing you to print a single QR code that will work for all your Tree-Gifts. 

Once scanned, the QR code will redirect the end-user to its individual Tree-Gift. From there on the experience is exactly the same as for any other Tree-Gift.

Step 1 - Generate the trees for the QR code

Use the Offer Trees service using the advanced options:

1- Choose the species.
2- Choose the number of trees per recipient (each QR scanner will receive this amount of trees).
3- Select the image and write a message for the tree the recipient.
4- Click on 'Offer to a large group' at the end of the page and then click on 'advanced options'. This will allow you to send the trees yourself through a QR code.
5- Enter the number of recipients (number of QR code scans).
6- Proceed to checkout.

Sit tight and wait for an email from our side that will include the QR code, and the link associated with it. After testing that everything is ok, you can now place this QR code on any of your offline products or use it online in a specific campaign or communication!
